Is 4ESS considered custom?? This is for a PRI on a Magix.
Thanks

I've never used 4ESS. Usually when they build it "custom" on their side, 5ESS works best-but that depends upon the switch they are using. If not, 100DMS is the next best option. Ask them what type of switch they are using or emulating and that should be your answer. It should either be 5ess of dms100.

Thanks Telcomboy!
If I have a second Legend that I want to do sta to sta dialing can it be done without a point to point using the PRI and UDP? If so the digits dialed will pass directly to the other switch or does the UDP ann area code NPA & 1 digit if using a 3 digit dialplan??
Thanks!

The 4ESS is the class 4 office tandem switch. It should be able to provide the AT&T Custom protocol for PRI. Just specify that on your service order.

The 4ESS is the first tandem switch to do CCIS, aka SS7, and Primary ISDN is really a subset of SS7. CCIS is a Bell Labs invention that evolved into the standard for SS7.
