Sorry for the long forum, I Have a magix 2.2 release the problem is that i get a busy single, I came onsite with a 570 i tested all 23 channels working fine on 570 when i plug in to ds100 and call out i get dial tone and than i hang up and call again i get busy tone it happens a few times i called provider they said they are getting disconnect error on our ends so i test again with my 570 and i could dial out perfectly just when i plug it the ds100 i get busy single often so i decided to change to ds100 card and i get the same issue i reset the slot cleared alarms still same problem can anyone tell me what else to do its like its not hanging up correctly and it wont relase that trunk thanks in advance

It sounds like the PRI Programming Settings in the Magix are not right.

That is, they are in conflict with the way the PIPE is CURRENTLY setup.

Can you print them out?

the complaint he had was that it is just dropes the calls all of the sudden so one of the techs from our company when out and replaced the ds100 card thinking it was that so than we called for a vendor met they changed the settings to ni1 5ess b8zs esf so i go out their and put the old one back and take the 570 and test it. its working fine in the 570 can you tell me what steps to take just to make sure i am doing right i was their till 9pm last night trying different issues i will be on site later today thanks
 
I would have to look at your TRUNK (General), PRI, and ERROR Log reports to try to figure this out.

If you could print and post them here someone could problably come up with some ideas.

 
The Legend/Magix with PRI will ONLY work with protocol: 5ESS CUSTOM!!

There are NO exceptions!! Have your service provider change the NI1 to 5ESS CUSTOM.

i am on site now and i have the service provider with me and they say it is set to 5ess at&t custom they get an error message stading that my switch is giving them an error message that it is disconnecting from my switch to theirs any thoughts
 
Is it a true 5ess or a dms 100 emulating a 5ess?
 
correctly if i am wrong? after going back and forth with the pri provider. the pri/t-1 is a dynamic adtran. know with that being said the magix system is reguesting 23 channels which in a dynamic setting is only set to be per need bases pulling one channel per computer or voice. and its receiving its full 23 channels that my system is requesting correct. because the magix wont do dynamic it has to be static.So what i did was reduce the amount of channels to 12 channels.And when i ask the pri provider is tells me he has a certain amount of bandwidth for the voice. which is find. but each channel is 64k and if we do the math 64 in 23 equals 1.5m which is the whole adtran pri because it is dynamic. i am not a computer guy or pri expert.just the phone guy any solution.
 
Adtran does not make switches, they make transmission equipment. The Adtran hardware is used for the DS1 transmission path from the CO to the prem.

What alarm errors are you getting on the Magix, please post.

Have you run any tests on the Magix?

INVALID SANITY RESPONSE 14 counts, COMMAND BUFFER FULL 14 counts, also i am getting drop calls on the system we may talk for a few mins 1 1/2 min and call drops i was speaking the the t1 provider and they say that they get a protocol error from me. i have reset the switch pri busy out reset restore change the settings back and forth cant pin point the problem.

Ask the provider. I have seen a similar problem.
 
You did not respond to my question: did you run any tests on the Magix or its modules?

You did note that you have reset and restored the 100D in slot 6, I assume, and the errors you are getting are referenced to slot 6?

Could the 2nd cabinet be causing the problem? Backplane? Have you tried reseating the 100D module?

Next if that does not work, try moving the 100D module to slot 4 and shift all the other modules to the right. Then do a module renumber and see if that makes any difference.

Who is the service provider?
