I have a G3si rel 6.0,having trouble getting the PRI to connect. Telco has checked and verified that the circuit is working correctly. I have tried an Avaya cable, terminating on 110 hwde using the following connectors 47 LI (high) 22 L1, 48 LO, 23 LO (high). "D" channel is floating up and down, "b" channels indicate OSS-FE-PIN-IDLE. PRI permission "Y", "D" channel is 01A1524, replaced TYN 464F, no change is state.

One thing that seems to be a little bug is the "Supplementary Service Protocol" if your co switch is a E4, E5 try using "A" as your protocol in your trunk page and in your signal group page. Wisdom is Knowledge

Thanks All Phoneman2

OOS-FE-PIN-IDLE is out of service far end Pending in service which usually denotes a carrier issue. It seems like you pinned it out right also. Try and reverse it if you want but it sounds like thier problem to me.

Thanks for the advise, I have replaced the CSU, had Bell to test the circuit, they are able to loop up the CSU and I am able to call from the SmartJack. I guess, I need to verify the cables from the CSU to the switch.

This usually means they forgot to take the digital test- loop off, at the CO.
If they test your circuit would look OK until they look further than they usually do..
My telco kept me busy a whole night with this one (and one of their engineers).

Rob

Do you have an integrated CSU or an external one? Make sure the CSU Type is correct on the DS1 circuit pack page.
