PRI tie lines for G3 1

Can anyone tell me whether-or-not an Avaya G3R will support PRI tie lines to other systems? I've got 2 G3Rs tied to a bunch of Nortel 'option' systems. The Nortels can pass name display freely amongst eachother over PRI tie lines. Is it possible to have the G3Rs send and receive name display over PRI ties to the Nortels? The Nortel can only be the slave, or user side of a PRI....

We have used ISDN PRI to link up with the Cisco Avid Call Manger platform. It was no problem at all to do this. I do not have specific experience with Nortel, but what you are asking should be doable.

But I do believe you need to look into QSIG options for this to be possible.

The G3 be either the net side or the client side of an ISDN PRI tie. It is administered by 'change ds1 PPCCSS'. I'm not sure BIS is correct that you will need to have QSIG enabled on the G3 to pass basic CPN to the Nortel switches over the d-channel. Give it a shot without. If you need it, you'll have to purchase the RTU for QSIG.

you can display the name & number between two G3 also without getting Qsig, you need to get Qsig if you want to do path replacement etc.. features of Qsig between various brands of PBX's.

I want to link Defenity G3Si swithch Release 11 with Nortel Meridian switch. I am able to receive calls from nortel but not able make calls on E1 , ISDN PRI link. I had to supress the two digit access code while receiving the calls. What are the Interface parameter IFC in nortel for linkingto definity.? Any help please!
