I am implementing my first IP office switch (412). We are installing 2 PRI T1's in it. On a Legend or Magix I would have to know what type of CO switch was providing the T1 and ask for the appropriate protocol . An example would be if the switch was a 4 or 5 ESS I would ask for AT&T Custom, if it were a DMS-100 I would ask for NTNA-PRI and the L1 flags set to yes. Do I have these protocol concerns with IP office. I see where I set the switch type in Manager but do I request a certain protocal from the CO with the selected switch tpye.
Thanks in advance for your help.

The IPOffie if you have a PRI 30/60 card installed into the unit it will automatically sense what type of card is installed whether it is BRI or PRi..etc....

This will then be shown on the lines tab of the manager, where you can configure the no of channels etc,,,ETSI...

Thanks for the reply. So what your saying is I don't have to request a certain type of protocol from the T1 provider the way I do with a Magix system?
