PRI Steering

Hello,

I have a minor emergency. We have an incoming PRI that is pointed at our call pilot to answer calls. We lost the power supply in our third cabinet and I need to change this so that the incoming calls go to the receptionist. Can someone tell me what LD's to go into to accomplish this?

depends on several things.. prt one tnb of the pri in ld 20, if you see atdn xxxx with x=to your cp vsdn, then make the change in ld 14 on each trunk.. it could be sending dnis, that would mean a ld 49 idc change.. if your not sure prt one tnb and the rdb (ld 21) and post it

If you mean Call Pilot is down, I would set the NCFW value in the Call Pilot ACD Queue. In other words, when the ACD Queue is logged out calls will go to the NCFW.

If you mean the cabinet that has the PRI has no power, nothing in programming can send calls from a powered down PRI anywhere.

Sorry. I never seem to give enough information the first time. Our cabinet that has our Call Pilot card in it is down. That and our MMC card, but nothing else. We are running Succession 4.0. The PRI card is up and a different cabinet.

Good. For the future, you should consider an NCFW value in the Call Pilot queue. When mail goes down, the mail ports log out, and the NCFW value takes over. So, for the NCFW, you might put the DN of the receptionist.
