PRI Software keys

Recently taken over a system from another company ( Australian National sole distributor, Commander)and they did not record all of the software keys to open up all 60 channels of two PRI cards. We relocated the system and the tech who did the work reinitialised the system before checking if we had all the keys. Nortel & the National distributor will not supply the info without the customer signing up for maintenance with them. Can anyone suggest a place for us to purchase them (we only need three codes for the second card because they did record some, one card was an upgrade).

Let me get this one straight ,you have a PRI circuit working on the switch now and you want to add another one ,If thats the case then you don't need any PRI codes ,the system need only one PRI code to support both of them.But if you don't have any then you can buy this Key code from any vendors.

I am from Australia.

When you install a PRI card you get a software key for 10 channels, for every additional 10 channels you need another software key. We could only find the 3 codes from the original PRI card install, the person who put the second card in did not record the keys anywhere.

that's different than that we have here in the states one key code to support 2 PRI circuits on the system each with 23 channels.If you loose the codes you will have to buy them again usually Nortel doesn't have any record for these key codes.In your case you have to buy them in your country not overhere because it looks its different than here.That's a lesson for all of us that we have to keep a record for all the key codes.

Things work a little diffrent on this side of the pond... so you might get a bit of head scratching... If you want pri, you order a keycode and all 23 channels on the first pri card are active, and if you require a second pri card with 23 channels you only need to plug it in and program. total pri channel capacity 46 channels.
The new 6.0 software is supposed to support 32? channels on one pri card.
So long as this dosn't fly in the face of this forum, maybe there are other european sites out there that people can post links to??
