Have a mitel 3300MXE running 4.1 Embeded PRi trunking through a GTD 5, every so often the trunks are not seizable only way to fix is reboot the controller

Have changed the T1/E1 card clocking card no difference, anybody seen simular problem

Thanks

Yes, Sometimes when the PRI resets, the channels do not come up clean.

I find that Busying out the specific channel and returning to service usually fixes the issue.

quite often a simple DT CL (plid) will bring the circuit back in service.

NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!

@chelmik12 - all all channels affected or only some?

@NYtalkin - DT Cl for a single channel?

Are you clocking internally or to the PRI? Can make a difference.

no, plid of the link i.e. 9 1 2 1 also, if you have two links on the same mmc or mc only take sync from one. Don't put both links as your network sync source.

its spooky, but we just had this today....first time for me. Did a reboot, no difference....put tester on prot and it came up the same, layer 1 OK but no layer 2...Put tester onto NTE and that worked fine in and out...Mitel tech support says probably faulty card...just for a laugh we reseated the card and bosh, it came back up perfect...so long story short; try reseating the card.

Make sure that all three screws are holding the card down as I have had issues in the past with only one or two screws being used and the grounding of the card is compromised, causing the channels to lockup
