Are DMS 100 and DMS 500 the same when setting up a PRI for a legend? I don't have that(dms 500) as a switch type selection. That is what the carrier says they are using as a switch type coming from their VINA router.
can't seem to get any voice to go over the PRI. The d-channel is up, and I can grab trunks, get dial tone, and dial out, but then just dead air. Same on inbound. they can ring in and the caller ID even shows, but just dead air. We have tried setting the different protocols to other things as well.
Settings are the same, 100 and 500. If you aren't seeing any errors on the system, and the PRI settings are typical, and all else at default, then should work, but then you knew that, huh?
Point the finger of doubt at Telco, and request them to send a tech with a T-Bird or other equipment, and prove that it works.
Possible that equipment is goofed, but not likely here. Even if not Telco, they should be able to provide you with what they see when a call comes in or out, and give you feedback if it is your equipment.
