Hello

I installed a PRI CIRCUIT into a magix 4.0 the DID number all work perfect for inbound however i cant get the PRI to work on outbound calls. I followed the step by step instructions found here on FAQs . My first question is can i install a 100DS1 card into the last slot of the expansion cab slot 11 correct ? Also can it be a 100 DS1 617 NI15 the magix is 4.0 with V7.0 .All my pri trunks 23 in total are in group 70 .
thank you

the DSI card is in the last slot of second cabinet
THANKS YOU

Hello
well i will not be on site for a couple of days however there are 016 t/r to the left. the dsi is in the last slot of second cab. one thing i should mention is that when i go to make a call using the PRI after dialing the last digit it goes silent for a couple of seconds than a fast busy .

could you also take a look at my other question about calling groups

thank you

OK still working on my trouble calling out using the pri
when i dial 9 then number after a 2 second pause i get a fast busy , so i went over to the operators phone and direct select one of the pri channels dial out and got the same busy reorder tone. I had a magix system as a spare system so i set it up and programed it for pri and it WORKS for outgoing calls so i know the pri is good from carrier

this also proves that i have something in programing that is blocking me from calling out on my system

please help

thank you

If it's a PRI, you can't dial directly on a channel, either from a button on the Operator's console, or through the technician level trunk access code.

However, your channels are in a pool, so give an extension pool dial out access for that pool. Then go to that phone, press SA, dial the pool code, and then your call. This bypasses your ARS tables. See if the call goes through.

If it does, print and post your ARS tables.

Oh, and the 2-second delay when dialing with the 9 is the system waiting to see if you're going to dial anything else before sending your call out. Once you get everything working, train your users to dial 9, the number, and then # to signal the end of the number, and the calls will go out faster.

Why don't you post the PRI configurations of both the working and non-working switches? That way we can take a look-see to possibly identify the problem, since you are asking for help, it is very difficult to guess what you have programmed!

Also, you can move the 100DS1 module to the LEFT of the 016TRR modules without affecting any station assignments, but you will have to do a board renumber to make it work. This could be a possible fix for the right sided glitch of the 016TRR issue.

ok i can move it to the left of the 016 t/r but the slot to the left is a 016 etr card what will happen to those ext ?
