PRI set to Custom

Telco is sending a PRI from a Seimens switch set to "Custom". I thought "Custom" was NI-1, however my MICS 6.1 does not allow me to choose NI-1. I tried all settings 4ESS, DMS-100, DMS-250, and and NI-2, cannot receive or call out on the B channels. Do I need to have the telco change theirs to "National" or can I do something else on my end?

I would have the carrier config for NI-2

That is what I asked them to do, they are reluctant, saying the Seimens is unstable when set to NI-2, which makes us all uneasy.

I wouldn't allow my LEC to tell me anything. You tell them what you need. Period.

IT NEEDS TO BE NI-2, THEN YOU CAN SELECT YOUR NI-2 PROTOCAL. SIEMENS SHOULD BE SET TO WATS FOR THE NSF EXT

I had a MCI LD PRI on a job. They told me they couldn't do NI at all. I told them my options in the switch. We both could do DMS2500. Poof!!! Worked like a charm. As long as both ends are the same you should be fine. After both ends are changed I would reboot.
