If the Magix is set to send a prefix then an extension number as the "number to send". Can an authorization code be used to specify the number seen, by the called party, "on the fly"?

For example, if the base number is 1234567, and the Magix is set to send base number plus extension, then when extension 100 calls out it will show 123 456-7100 to the called party. From extension 101 it will show 1234567101, and so forth.

If authorization codes are in play, can extension 100 use the authorization code for extension 101 have a call from extension 100 show the called party caller id as 1234567101?

Yes and no.

Using authcodes to enable dialing is clever and works well.
Number to Send plus Extension will always send 100 if dialing from 100.
May be worth trying shared system access buttons for dialing. You may get it to work like that.

Pepperz this is probably to late, but "Base number with Ext" doesn't append extension to base, it replaces the last digits.
So with base number 1234567, ext 100 would show as 123-4100 to called party (if provider allows)
The correct base number would have to be 1234567890 to get 123 456-7100 for ext 100 123 456-7101 for ext 101.
(If the extension was 1234 caller ID would show as 123 456-1234)
