PRI questions

I have a Legend customer who is chnaging from a T-1 to a PRI. My question is that the carier is asking about switch type. I have 2 choices, National ISDN2 or Nortel Custom. I am prtetty sure it has to be Nortel Custom, but I wanted to make sure.

My other question is when originating a call using the PRI, can the Legend send out the individual DID number of each user as far as the Caller ID info seen by the called party?

National ISDN2 or Custom is actually the protocol. The switch type is what they have at the central office, i.e, 5ESS, DMS100, etc. The general rule is if it is a 5ESS switch then the protocol is set to ATT Custom, if it is a DMS switch, then the protocol is set to NI2.
