PRI protocol change starts bad problems

While changing service providers on a CS1000 5.0 I found out during testing the protocol on the new providers pri was NI2. So I Deleted the DCH, Route,trunks and rebult them with the NI2 protocol.During testing with a test number I didnt notice any problems. So they ported the numbers and now I when DID calls are answered you have to select the line button use the handset. Just picking it up creates no talk path also DID calls will not route to callpilot after 4 rings the calls drop. Ive tried rebuilding the route multiple times with no success. Has anyone heard of these type of symptoms? This switch uses all IP phones.
 
did you change the vsel without wanting to? toggle that, it may be the answer.. as for having to press a line check the lpk on the phone.. that is not a function of the d

How bout you post your route and trunk programming for us to see along with the DCH programming. Make sure your new carrier is also sending you the correct # of digits on inbound calls.
 

DSEL? vce 3vce etc?

and make sure the CO programming matches yours (or the other way), sometimes that info is not exact, you get issues then.

Sorry I don't have the route info available. I do remember the dsel being 3vce I copied the info from the old route. Would changing it possibly work better with the new protocl?
 
I doubt the 3vce will help you. I think it's something else. You said the phone rings but never goes to voice mail, that's very strange. Are you sure that is what's happening? I'm thinking I would INI or SYSLOAD that puppy.

It seems the system was not thourghly patched and the new PRI may not be totally compatible.
