When programming a PRI - DID for the Merlin,

How many digits can it remove from the vendor. The vendor is proposing to send 10 digits to me.

Also, can the Merlin accept a zero as the first digit in a DID?

The zero will send the call to the operator, making it "un-routable"

Yes, you can have ZERO as the First Digit, but you will want to "MASSAGE" it with your incoming dial plan routing.

Also, be careful, XO has a problem with the LEADING ZERO, but I do know they have a work around.
