When I configure my PRI as ESGF, TIE, it starts dropping my all calls other then 03xxxxxx far end says its not getting my trace which means my calls are being dropped at my end. No ESN involved at all. I tried with purely simple settings... an access code thats it.
Far end is ZTE, I tried ALL protocols, E403 as well. When I configure E403, It disconnects my calls on Busy far end after 30 seconds. I tried managing it with timers (LD 17) which restricted 30 seconds to 3 seconds, but in that case, user hears Tone to Last Party (a flat tone like Dial Tone) rather then a busy tone.
I spent my last night. Tried changing everything, updated my system with patches, changed Companding Law from Mu to A, changed the corresponding FTC table to match A-Law as well with proper Tone and Cadance values, tried EVERY protocol I had with me but all in vain.
When I improve call disconnection problem, busy tone stops and vice versa.
Need serious cooperation from you guys since this is one of my primary focus at Nortel based issues. System is CS1000E, Rls 5.5j
Go For It Even If It's Impossible !
