Hopefully, someone may have some suggestions to this PRI problem - We have an AT&T/SBC Smart Trunk. Previously, the AT&T T1 had 33 Telephone Numbers coming into the T1 and each number came into a specific Extension (DNIS). On the new PRI, the Merlin Legend, acommodated 16 of the telephone number by adjusting the PRI Dial Plan Routing Tables. SBC agreed to provide 12 POTS lines, and SBC said they could only provide DNIS for 3 of the Telephone Numbers. The numbers come in as DID's and SBC says they are sending the DNIS for each. The calls do not come in to the specified extension. When the telephone is not on NIGHT Service, the call comes into the console (X768) and shows on the Display "Transferred from [CO Main Number]" when we press the MORE button, shows on display "Called 138". When the NIGHT button is pressed, the console shows "Cover DID#?" and when press MORE button shows "Caller LD (8XX) trk (8XX)". I have checked and re-checked the programming on the PRI and I can not see where to make this work. If I had more PRI Dial Plan Routing Tables, I would make the adjustment . SBC keeps telling me that it is a problem in my translations. They say that as long as the numbers hit the PRI and come into the system, there is nothing else they can doand be done with this. The Voice Mail System is an INTUITY. I do not know if this has anything to do with the problem

In order to offer some advise we need more info from you about the PRI, the DID numbers, the digits being sent, dial plan, etc.

You could start by posting a printout of the PRI info. Then we can all see it and better offer suggestions to you.

The Legend/Magix does NOT support Name on CID.

In order to figure out what you have programmed, post a print of the PRI info in the Legend. You can cut and paste to post it on the forum after you save the file from SPM.

Are you using 'setup space' as part of the dial plan?

If you number your stations the last three digits of the DID number you won't need to translate anything.

To avoid number conflicts and using up translation tables, I would exchange the xxx-5900 - 5999 DID block for something that fits your dial plan. The '9' is the issue.
