I have a PRI I turned up today. Inbound works fine, outbound local is fine, long distance no worky! The provider says he is seeing no 1 in the string and my switch must be stripping it. I can't find it! ARS sub patterns are absorbing 00. Where else can I look?

Look in the PRI Options, or just put a 1 in the ARS table.

Can you elaborate a little on that Pepperz?

the default for the system is to strip the one

Down load this the system planning forms

You will see on page 49 that on the special services table Any number that starts with a 1, the 1 gets stripped.

you can do a PRI printout and see it there too

You reprogram the "delete digits" to Zero on special service table entry number 5

Yep, or add it on the ARS table as Sub A Digits.

As TTECH SAYS:

You should really fix this in the PRI outgoing table.

It is usually Table 5 absorbing a 1.

To change it in ARS will fowl up the other facilities when they are used.

Just make table 5 absorb NOTHING!
