Magix 4.0.
There is a PRI that is up and functioning fine.
There are 2 800 numbers that point to numbers on the PRI.
The local is sending 3 digits.
I am stripping the 3 digits and adding the 3 digits that I need.
These 2 are working fine.
We need to add another one.
I go into the PRI programming and get to pattern 3
I tell the switch to expect the 3 digits.
Strip the 3 digits and add the digits I want.
I call the number and it covers out to the operator.

I have to be missing a step somewhere.

Well, without looking at your PRI SET UP, or Dial Plan, my first guess would be that you are routing to something that doesn't exist in you dial plan.

Sorry,
I am routing to a calling group 774. This is also a mailbox/auto attendant on the audix system.
When I dial 774 it rings one and plays the auto attendant message that is recorded there.

Did you set pattern 3 for any service?

If it is audix did you add the DNIS to you aa routing table?

If you poke around in pattern 3 you'll find under services you can pick misc, any service.

disregard what I said about audix.

OK, I was really confused about the audix. I thought that was set up when you install the audix.

OK, in pattern 3 there is a services. It has ATT Local, MCI, 5Ess local, etc. and misc.

Choose misc. and under that there will be a setting for any service?

When I take a look at the other 2 numbers that are working they have no serviec listed in the printout.
This will provide the same reading?

Choosing any service for pattern 3 will not hurt anything.

I cannot say why 1 & 2 are no service, doesn't make sense to me.

you could always take the easy way out, if the DNIS is not offensive to your dial plan do a Sys Renumber for 774 to XXX(DNIS digits).

OK,
So if there isn't anything listed on the print, then I should go in and choose no/any service.
This might be the problem?

Thank you very much for the assist. I changed it to any service and viola, worked like a charm.
