PRI Issues on 5.0 2

MICS 5.0
NAM 4.0

Issue:
1 way speech path, can be either way.
Calls dropping.

Replaced so far:
DTI card
Patch cord
Combo/Service card

Noted:
The KSU gives no alarms what so ever related to PRI.


Meantime I am aware of issues between 4.1 and 6.1 have recommend the usual upgrades.

Has any one experienced the symptoms or non alarms is my question

Does this happen system wide or on certain sets,I have come accross a couple of mics 5.0's that had a floating talkpath problem. One set would lose audio, by disabling and re enabling the port it would work again. Then a couple of days later another set would do the same thing, I would repeat disable and it would work again. After a few visits we threw in a 6.1 mr and it never happened again.

5.0 usually didn't play well with PRI circuits. Best to upgrade the software to at least 6.1-MR and make sure they have a release 02 NVRAM cartridge.

I just realized the NAM will also need to be upgraded to R4.1 if you upgrade the MICS.
