Hello

Could someone please clear up a couple of questions I have .

We are installing a PRI into our legend system 6.1

The question is can I put my T1 card into slot 9 which now has an 408 gs/ls I know we will need to do a system renumber. To the right of slot 9 are 012 t/r cards will they get remunbered will the externsions change or will I be ok. The reason why we chose slot 9 is because there are no other boards to the right that are outside line cards .
Also the 3rd cab is full so we do not have a empty slot

Thank you

Any trunks to the right of the installed slot will be affected.

the numbers of the 012 cards will change ,they will start at what the extension number that were on the 408,
so yes they will move up 8 station numbers, you can renumber by a block to put the order back

You are confused.

PRI is a trunk card and 012 is an extension card.
408 is 4 trunks and 8 extensions

A trunk card does not affect the extension numbering and a extension card does not affect trunks.

The 4 in the 408 card will have an affect on the trunks. You should make sure that those trunks are removed from any pool and are unassigned from any extension or group. Since you have no other trunks to the right of the slot there are no other affecting issues for trunks.

The 8 in the 408 card will affect your extensions to the right of the slot. All of those cards will slide over and be renumbered starting with the first extension number from the 408.

RITELCARLOS,

You should read the documentation. All this is covered there.
