Anyone have any idea how much longer Avaya will let us activate these? The last I read a couple years back was they no longer stocked them but would honor all the ones sold up to that point. I know if you look on the web you can still buy them so i was just wondering if there is a projected date or will it be one day you go to activate one and the site says sorry this code is no good.
 
What I get out of it is all support including key codes ends October unless the site has a 3 year contract.

Seems already you cannot generate any auth codes for BCM 4.0 or under on the KRS

Only BCM50 and 450 are the only choices at the moment....not sure for Norstar but I had thought only tickets for system id's changing were done.

curly you can still activate codes on the 400 because I have done that. But like I was saying about the PRI it has to be codes that was already sold or were on a stocking distributors shelf because you cnanot get a new one from Avaya anymore. If it's Oct that sucks because there's still alot of MICS's out there that could use PRI.
 
I just been advised again today that there is no option other than BCM50 or BCM50 to generate new auth codes.....those are the only 2 choices given.

Strange that you can still.

You can still activate codes if you have them but you can't buy them from Avaya anymore unless they are for BCM50 or BCM450 release 6.

You would have to get them from a reseller who still has the old paper files
 
Yes I understand but I am referring to KRS where there is no option to generate a new code for any BCM other than a 50 or 450.

We put in a ticket and they said sorry you need to upgrade the 400 to a 450 to be able to generate any codes.

This attempt was about 3 weeks ago.

That's very odd because I just accessed KRS and I have no problem selecting Business Communications Manager as an option. When I hit GO, it takes me right to the page that asks for the System ID.
 
Been awhile since I did it but I suspect my partner (another vendor) maybe thinks that Business Communications Manager is a heading with 50 and 450 being the 2 choices underneath if it is in fact the first choice, I told him to re-try and that Business Communications Manager would represent 1000, 200 & 400

As far as the ticket I guess the support dude was out to left field.

So as thought it was thought as a header but also the system id was an issue and the key code was for a 450 not a 3.X which Avaya corrected all....too funny.

Ok so right now we're saying Oct 2015 for BCM's other than 50 or 450 rls 6?
Also for the MICS and CP 100/150? I'm trying to find a document but so far I'm not having any luck.
