I have 6 PRI T1's 2 with d-channel. Basicly all DID with a backup D-channel. I am meeting with the new vendor today to discuss cut. My thought is as long as they can match the provisioning that is currently there, then this should be a simple unplug from company and plug into the other and wait for porting "10,000 of them".. Is there something in programming that I should be printing out to help this new vendor? I'm pretty sure the old vendor will not be to forthcomming.

Print out the D-channel and route, in the route section look at the ISDN info. I would schedul a test first before you do the major cut-over. I see so many company doing this and every one of them fail, nothing is easy.

Prt out your CEQU for the Loop, the RDB for the Route, the ADAN for the D-channel. Verify that this new carrier can match all of your existing parameters. You should do a "test run" of the new circuit during off hours to be sure.

why not create a new route for the cutover matching your existing one. it takes no time at all to out members and add members in 14. This way you could out your PRI with Dch bring it up on new route and test, if you have trouble you are only putting back 1 PRI.

Thanks to all of you. This was forced upon me and I am trying to make someone eleses decision from crashing. I printed all info you suggested and we now have a test cut sch 1 week before. How can I find how many didgets the old provider is sending me?

Turn on D-channel messaging and make a call to a DID number.
LD 96
.enl msgi x (x = d-channel number)

To turn it off:
