Got a strange issue.
Just took over a customer from another dealer, so we upgraded their 2 MiVoice CX controllers to Rel 7.2.
Both CXs have an embedded PRI. Each CX is in a different city (actually different Country),so each PRI is from a different CO provider. After the upgrade, neither PRI came up and the status showed as "NOT SEIZABLE". Busy and RTS did not restore service, nor did a reboot of PBX. I had physical access to one controller and was able unplug the PRI cable and let the LED on the card go red and then reconnecting the PRI established service. On the other PBX, the service Provider of the PRI went to site and reset the circuit and service was restored.
The customer then informed me that this is a very common occurrence on their equipment when any kind of power outage or reboot on the PBX occurs.
As these are unique CO providers, I am inclined to suspect either a programming issue on the PBX or a PBX hardware issue. Customer tells me that all the hardware was purchased at approximately the same time and the same Mitel dealer programmed these systems.
I have yet to find any programming anomalies.
Any thoughts from you bright folks here?
