I used the "Previous" Function in my Crystal report to suppress duplicate rows of data, it works but excludes the first row. When I tried using the "Next" Function, it excludes the last row of data. I used this commands in the Suppress conditional formating Format Editor of the fields in Question. eg {Table.field} = NEXT ({table.field}).
Can anyone help?

It's generally a better idea to post your requirements than to post what doesn't work:

Crystal version
Database/connectivity used
Example data
Expected output

You may be able to eliminate the dupes from the report by selecting Database->Select Distinct Records, or with some combination of criteria in the record selection criteria.

Nobody can know how to advise you from your post.

BTW, to suppress a row, right click the details section and select format section->X 2 next to suppress in there and use whatever criteria makes sense, don't do it for each field if you consider the row a dupe.

If you just don't want to display repeated values, then right click the field and select format field->and on the common tab select suppress if duplicated.

When you use the section expert, enter your formula into the x+2 area for suppression, but do NOT check suppression. The x+2 formula overrides the checkmark, EXCEPT if the formula cannot execute--as when there IS no previous record. In that case, if you have the box for suppression checked, it will suppress the record.
