How do I recall and use the last command I just typed and a list of recently used commands. I know how to do this in Linux RedHat but haven't been able to do it in SCO UnixWare 7.1.1 which is what I am currently working on. Remeber, life is what you make it.

If you aren't already using ksh, either change your shell to that or just run

ksh -o vi or ksh -o emacs

If you are running ksh, just "set -o vi" will do it.

esc-k goes back one command, after that just k or j move through the stack (ctrl-p, ctrl-n for emacs). See for details.
