Previous Business Date Formula

I am trying to create a report that contains a formula for the effective date to be the previous business date. Currently I have a prompt built in, however I'd like it to be able to be a scheduled job run automatically & therefore need to be able to have a formula to define the effective date to be the previous business date. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
