When i preview reports on an NT or 2000 box, the report font is virtually unreadable. I usually run 800 x 600, but if I jack it way up, it is much more readable. But I dob't want to have to run more than a 800 x 600 desktop. Any ideas?

Not all fonts are interchangeable between Win9x and WinNT. Try "Moving" the report files to a floppy disk and then recreate the reports on a NT or Win2K computer and see what you get.

dgrewe, I will try that.
foxdev, yes, after zoom in, you get a nice close view of how unreadable it is!

One other thing--at 800x600 it's pretty unreadable.
At 1024x768, it's not too bad.
Of course, I still have a lot of people at 640x480!

What font is used for the report? Is it possible that it is a font that is not installed on the NT box, and Windows is approximating it with a different font? Is the font(s) being used TrueType(R) fonts?

When I preview reports on a FoxPro Win 2.6 application
( an xxx.EXE file)
the report never appears and the screen get freezed/hang.
(so I need to shut down the computer)

However, if I run the same application from inside
FoxPro windows 2.6 (from the command window do xxx.exe)
the preview work perfect.

HELP please!!! I'm geting crazy with this problem.

Any advice ? my eMails are :

gvivenci,

You should start a new thread for a new problem, but:

I have frequently had reports that hang or crash for no apparent reason. Typically, I start again with a blank report, and copy all the report elements across. Then it usually works. That's computers for you.
