Previewing a report

Is there any way to prevent having to re run a report that has parameters everytime I make slight changes.

I'm only making small cosmetic alterations now and it's frustrating having to keep entering selection criteria. Also I thought that when I first installed Visual Studio, I didn't have to do so but I may be wrong.

You can set default parameters within the report that will be used each time the report is previewed for development purposes, then remove before deployment
