Hello,

Newbie question. I'm working with FP2000. I've created a form which I've connected to an Access db by adding the db to the folder list. I've enabled the form to send the results to the db and associated each form field with a db field.

Once this is done FP suggests saving the file as .ASP. Which I've done.

My question is what is the simplest method to see that this connection works and check that the db is updated correctly?

Go to TOOLS > Site Settings > Click the Database Tab
Locate the database connection name, highlight it and click the verify button. This will verify that the connection to the database in FP is good and working properly.

Next - to ensure the form results are being sent to the database - you would want to send a few test form results via the web browser. Then open the site in FP - double click on your database file and open the table your results are being sent to and see that the results are being sent properly.
