Preventing top-of-page on print

I have an aplication that sends ZPL to a printer. I'm using the printer.print approach. The problem that I have is that after I send a certin number of lines to the printer, VB is inserting a top of page which messes up the ZPL. I need to surpress it. I triec changing the paper size in teh driver, that did not help.
