Hi All:

Is there any third party utility (or just even within the full version of Adobe Acrobat) that can disable user from downloading it (lets say we put the PDF file on a web page), so manager want to put some financial stuff on it

I know there is a lock function to prevent printing or put a password to read and modify the PDF file, but for some users who are determine enough to export content of the information in the PDF (ie. via screen print or other method ), how do we stop it ?

Thanks
XM

I'm fairly sure you can't. Once you display that PDF on a web page, it's effectively in the public domain. If it was placed on an internal company intranet, that was password protected, could resolve some concerns.

well I guess we can put it with a password so just to make somebody feel safe r, they shouldnt really post this thing anywhere anyway if they can't trust anybody on it
