Preventing multiple login with the same roaming profile ?

Hi there,

we do have implemented in our company the roaming profiles (nt 4 server, win2k wks). From time to time, we do have problem with users who don't log off and connect themselves with their profil from another machine... Of course, problem when they update their datas...

Is there a way of preventing or detecting that a user have multiple connections ?

Hi,

If you want to prevent the user form multiple logging inoyur domain than there is option in usermanager for domains in user properties theis is tab for "logon TO" .
You can specify the workstations over there na dif you wwant ot detect whether the users are logging in multiple workstations use "netwatch.exe" from resource kit it will give the uses logins.

Try this out and let me know.
