Hi All

I'm sure this has been covered before but can't find the articles.

We have an Official Notices Global Address List set up which emails every user in the company. Of course this is now being abused so we want to remove the address from the Global Address List so we can limit who had access to this. This is straightforward.

My Question:

The issue I have is how do you prevent someone clicking on 'Reply to All' which is the other half of the problem! I know you can limit the number of emails that users can send in Exchange but this is something I'm reluctant to do.

Does anyone have any other ideas? Other peoples solutions to the whole issue in general would also be welcome.

Thanks
Dave

You cannot stop the reply all, unless with some coding, but even then they can still manually paste all addresses in the to field.

Your solution for abuse: TALK to te abusers and make it very clear they have to stop or they will be blocked.
Before you do that, you may want the backup of Management to cover you.
It all comes down to user education, otherwise you will spend you half days finding workarounds because of their abuse.
After all, keep in mind that any modification you make now, will make your life harder at an eventual upgrade one day.
