Hello,

I am in the middle of re-structuring our companies Public Folders. I have created Board Room Booking Calendars in the Public Folders. The thing is when I book meetings through my Calendar and use the public calendar(s) as a resource; it seems I am able to double book events or meetings. Is there anyway of preventing this from happening?

I have looked throughout the Exchange System Manager and Outlook Public Folders settings but have yet to see anything that will stop this from happening. If anyone has information pertaining to this or public calendars as a resource, please let me know.

Thanks,

Hello BigDman,

Have you checked under Oulook, Tools Menu, Options, Calendar Options (on the first Page), Resource scheduling, Decline conflicting?

OOOPS, forget that. (wasn't thinking straight).

Consider building an account for the meeting room\resource and then:

Oulook, Tools Menu, Options, Calendar Options (on the first Page), Resource scheduling, Decline conflicting

And then share the calendar so everyone can see it.

But not necessarily let everyone modify it, just a select group to modify.

(I am just not with it today, I apologize)
