Hi,
Does anyone know if there are checklists published that shows what a maintainer has to do on a routine maintainance visit for the following :- DECT, Symposium, VM, UM systems,
9150's and BCM's ?
I need to ensure that maintainers are doing their stuff on schedules Preventative maintainance visits.

As a maintainer, I dont think there are a check list for this. It's not like make service on a car.
Change oil, filters and so on.

It depends more of what you have in your contract with the maintainer.

Normaly when the stuff works, its not necessary to do anything at all, more than backups.
We have in our contracts we should do backups 4 times a year, also check batteries at the same occasions.

But if the PBX works otherwise, we arent doing anything.
The less you do in that case, the better.
Everytime something is done there is a risk something gets worse.

For example we dont change sofwarepatches everytime there is a new version.
We change them when there is a need to, or if we upgrade the system.

I dont see your point, the maintainer should see to that the systems work, if they don't, they dont fullfill what they should. OR?
