Prevent records in SQL table from being locked......

I am currently using access to run several queries against data that resides in SQL tables. The problem I am running into is that when I am running queries the records located in the SQL tables become locked by me. Is there anyway around this problem???

You must be locking at too high a level, reduce the lock to the record level.
