prevent others connecting to PC using MMC

Dear All,

I was wondering what is the service that controls the ability to connect to a pc using MMC.

Is there a way to prevent others logging on to a pc through MMC and "playing around"?

There are other things that might of your concern also, like remote registry. In local security policy under administrative tools, goto local policies -user rights assignment and open access this computer form the network. Remove any user name from the list. This way noone will be able to access your computer over the network, w/ or w/o a password.
