We're using GroupWise 5.5 and for reasons of confidentiality, we would like to know if there is anyway that e-mail sent to another groupwise user can be read-only? Especially - No forwarding! Thanks.

Are you saying that you want to be able to send a message to someone and prevent them from being able to forward that message to internal users and Internet users?

That's exactly what we need to do. Unfortunately, most e-mails that are intended "for internal use only" and are supposed to be "confidential" are being forwarded to others... is there anyway to prevent this? I think Outlook has a feature in it's encryption folder that allows this... Thanks!

Well, the encryption folder only secures the data inside the email, I don't think it would prevent a user from forwarding it. GroupWise has the same encryption features, but again, it only secures the data. You can try looking into a product called GWAVA. It will monitor the MTA of your domain and will prevent both internal and Internet forwards of confidential email. But there is currently nothing with in GroupWise that can acomplishwhat your asking for.
