I want to create a flash media player for a website but I know myself how to relocate a flash movie's content if the creator used multiple external clips. I basically want a main flash movie that has a player control in it and then have it load up a music file list from the server and then download the appropriate music clips from the server. But I know someone could easily just move the main movie over to their own server and read their logs to find out what all the flash files are. Also someone could probably request just the music clips by itself and get the music out of it.
Is there some way for flash to tell if a browser is requesting the file versus another flash movie requesting it? I'm thinking just having some secret variable in the main movie that the music clips will check to see if it's there before allowing itself to play the music. But I'd like to know if there are any other ways I can prevent the movie from working from another server, or the clips from working as standalone clips.
