Prevent drilldown based on parameter

Hello! I have a report that has a number of regions with a total for each region (from there you can drill down to the districts in that region and so forth). I have about 7-8 regions and I have a web page that the users log into -- I can pass a parameter to the report for their region. What I want to do then is to allow the user to see the first page with all the totals for all the regions, but only allow them to drill-down on their region only. (e.g, I show totals for regions 1-7, but if my region is 5, I can drill down just on region 5)

Does this make sense? If so, can it be done?

I too ran into a similar problem when doing a drill down or on demand sub report in that it won't pass to the subreports conditions or parameters used in the main report or non drill down subs. I do not believe it can be done.
