I want an integer field to display as an integer (eg. if the field holds 123, I want to display '123'). CR9 is insisting on displaying this field - when I use it as part of a formula field - with decimal point and places (eg. '123.00'). I know there is a way of preventing this. It is something like <function>(field,0), but I can't remember what <function> is.

Can anyone tell me what it is please?

Thanks.

Ahh! Just found the answer in the rounding thread below.

All you need to do is format the field to show no decimals. No function or formula required.

In Crystal 8.5, you can choose [Options] under [File] and then click the [Fields] tab. This lets you decide the default numberic and date formats for your reports. Much easier than changing it every time.
