Ex2k on Win2k Domain. I realized how easy it was after some help from you guys how easy it was to set up journaling to do exactly what i wanted it to do: monitoring all mail coming in and out of a store. My question now is lets say i wanted to have certain mailboxes excluded from getting journaled, how would i go about that. i already tried creating another storage group but as stated in Q283283, i cant create another mailbox store without upgrading from exchange standard to exchange enterprise. Does anybody have a workaround suggestion for this. The situtation is that my boss wants to have access to all of the mail but i would like to exclude my account from this journaling feature.

I think it's an all or nothing proposition. :-(
But maybe you can sort of "cheat" the system by creating a rule on the mailbox that archives the messages...Anytime a message comes in with your name on it, it gets moved or deleted...

Yeah,
That is what i have done as a temporary fix. I have all the mail except mine being forwarded to my boss.
There must be a better way, without having to add a new exchange server to the lineup.
