Press zero for reception

I have added an external number in "voicemail reception" but dialing zero whilst listening to the VM message or after the tone will not route the call. Do I need to do anything else?

Phone Manager Pro 2.2 with Voicemail.
 
Voicemail light will not diver to an external number.

You may be able to fool the system by diverting to a dummy user on fowrward to the external numbber
 
Instead of sending it to a user, send it to a short code. example:

sc- 4000
tel 5555555
feat dial

Then set-up vm reception to go to 4000. I have set this up before and it works great.
 
Thanks for both suggestions which I have tried but neither seem to work. Should the dial zero option work by default or does it need "switching on"?
 
Once you have filled in the voicemail reception field for a user, it should work automatically for that user.
