I am using FP2000 to edit an organizations web pages stored on an off-site server. When I create a "new web" and import pages from the site, all hyperlinks within the pages are redirected to the corresponding pages on my computer. Thus, when I publish back to the web, browsers are unable to access the linked pages because the links are no longer pointing to the pages on the server.

What must I do to preserve the hyperlinks on importing pages from a web site into a new web on my desktop?

Same problem here. I've yet to see anyone able to answer it but I'm still hoping....

I've had the problem in the past... Make sure that when you create the hyperlinks, you are using the link to the web, (globe picture) rather than the link to a file (folder picture) if you use the folder, it will not update the link, and will always try to come to your computer. The web link will update to the proper url.

Hope that helps the both of you.
