Hello all,

Customer was using analogue lines and *21* diversion for calls to out of hours support mobile. Happy customer.

Now they have IP500 R9 on ISDN and forwarded calls present the bearer number. Not a happy customer !

We have a pair of Gamma SIP trunks and have now requested 'CLI Flexibility' to be enabled in the hope that it is possible to pass through the CLI.

Can anyone shed some light on the possibility and if possible, the correct settings?

Some providers do allow you to do this but it depends on where you are and if somebody has any experience with that provider.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I just did this on a PRI that had no "smart" features. Set up an ARS table for forwarding. Append to the N the letters ssi. So it will read something like 0N;, 0Nssi, dial 3K1 etc. Assign the ARS shortcode something like 8N. So when a user wants to forward their calls, they use 8 instead of 9 for he line access in the dial string. Thanks to Touch Tone Tommy for the idea.
