Presentation and quesion...

Hi to All, I'm Mirko an italian tecnician, I'm a totaly newbye with the MD110 system and now i'm studying it, here I am to ask you some help

I've a problem with the MD110 that I use for tests, it report an class 4 alarm says:

I Have no idea what is this, my instructor say that it's something regarding the TMU board, but searchin around on my documentation (Manteinance docs) I've found nothing about this problem.

How can I fix it? The TMU board is in posiziont 1-0-10 and work fine, I've try to do FTTDI:LIM=1; and FTMFI:LIM=1; but the answer is:

LIM 001 TEST NOT POSSIBLE TO RUN

anyone ave some ideas?

what type of power unit do you have in mag 0? (eg PU4DC, PU5DC, RG5DC,...)

My power unit is a REU.

The post linked by PetrNik is very helpfull, after a CNREC:LIM=1,REU=NO; the class 4 alarm was gone but I'm not sure what I've done.

Now I try to installa an ELU-11 and try if analog phone ring...

Ah.. what program do you use to connect with MD? I'm using winfiol 5.2 now but if there's something better....

just a remark,

if you have an REU (which is a ring unit, not a power unit) in mag 0 you may not execute the cnrec command, now you just cleared the alarm but the problem is that the REU is not working...

winfiol 5.2 is good to connect to the MD110 ,version 6.4 will be available with the latest SAM toolbox package (3.7 SP5)

Argg, ok, I've check My notes, yes, I've the DSU and also I have analog telephone so, I need it.

YEAH IT WORKS !!!

I've done a CNREC:LIM=1,REU=yes,MAG=1; and everything work fine now.
