Hi,
I am trying to prepend a digit on DID calls. Currently we are only getting 4 digits from the carrier, and I would like to prepend a digit. Can anyone tell me how to do that using HiPath 4k Assistant?

I know in 9006 you use DIDCR to edit/display the DID conversion rule tables and I have successfully used them to change numbers - like I had a building that had numbers served from 3 exchanges, but I wanted all my DID numbers to fit into the same dialing plan. So if I had NXX-683-5400 and I wanted it translated to extension 8400 I could set up the DIDCR table so that all 540x numbers that came in were translated to 840x numbers. The same would go for 541x, 542x, 543x, 544x, ... etc. MAYBE it is possible for you to put 4-digits in the translation result and add an extra digit. So if you have 5-digit internal extension numbers, like my example NXX-683-5400 and you are sent 5400 by the provider but you want it to be 65400, MAYBE you go into the DIDCR table and say 540x translates to 6540x (instead of 3 digits you use 4, the last digit 0 - 9 is always used from the original source, so that is not touched).

Maybe if you are lucky this will work for you.

If I am not mistaken the 4K uses some of the same AMOs as 9006, so if you have AMO access this might be a possible solution for you. I've never toughed a 4K, but have read enough here to make the above assumption.
