Preparing Network Connections

I have a big problem ... and this is really big ;(.
Because it takes so long to know my fix is working.
In win2k server, when it gets into "preparin network connections" it takes very long to get the login screen (takes hours).

Any idea why ? I think can probably coz by the DNS server, but I don't konw where to fix ;(.

If it takes hours, there's something drastically wrong with the build. What's in the Event log? Could be a driver issue, or could be many things.

Post any relevant-looking event logs and IDs - but you may want to try the Windows 2000 forum rather than PC Hardware.
