I am hoping to take the A+ test within 6 months.
I have done some research and Mike Meyers seems to have a popular study guide and I have read through a bit and it's very informative. What I am asking is, is it too informative for the test..
Example

I completely went through his Chapter 5 on CPU's.
But I noticed he get's so in detail with everything...Knowing every single CPU's L1 cache, speed, socket, etc.

Do I need to know all of this?

I'd like basically to know what I really need to know to pass the test.

I didn't use Profesor Messer or Meyers because it was way too much info. It was overwhelming. I used these study guides and cram sheets to study and that was all (I passed). They are basically just what is on the test and nothing more. Good luck!
